The hypercar race war to break the 300mph barrier is over. In a six month collective effort between Bugatti engineers, Dallara and Michelin the Bugatti Chiron has been announced as the first manufacturer vehicle to break the 300-mile-an-hour barrier.
The highlights of the menacing Chiron created features a long tail which enhances overall aerodynamics and lowers drag, a boost to 1578 horsepower and upgraded Michelin tires to handle the increased road stress. Measuring 9.84 inches longer than a stock Chiron, stripped out interior and lower ride height for drag purposes the upgraded Chiron was in true race mode to battle the task at Ehra-Lessien test track, Germany.
Driven by the well accoladed Andy Wallace the Bugatti was in good hands, despite being described as, “Being quite difficult to do” by the driver himself. “Now Bugatti was the first to exceed the 300-mile-per-hour mark. An incredible achievement that shows what the men and women of Bugatti are capable of. But this was the last time for us. Bugatti was the first to exceed 300-mile-per-hour – its name will go down in the history books and it will stay that way forever” added Stephan Winkelmann, President of Bugatti.

For the last 26 years, the City of Beverly Hills has celebrated Fathers Day by hosting what’s become one if the premier car shows in the country, the Rodeo Drive Concours. We at O’Gara Coach, one of the shows largest contributors, decided this was the perfect time and location to celebrate something of our own, the 100th year Anniversary of Bentley. The Lamborghini Beverly Hills Showroom is officially open for business! Clients and influencers alike made their mark at the Grand Opening event where the radiant 2020 Huracan EVO was unveiled in Arancio Xanto, a color unique to the new model. The EVO possesses a 5.2-liter V10 engine and embodies the “evoluzione” of the Lamborghini brand. It roars with 640 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque, much like the Huracan Performante and races from 0-62 MPH in under three seconds…

The 2019 DEW Expo took place at the Marina Del Rey Marriott in Los Angeles’s famed Silicon Beach, a region home to over 500 tech-startup companies. The technology-focused expo explored “The Power of Creativity and Influence” and attracted creators, brands and platforms to explore the ways technology and content companies bring new experiences to life. Presenting at the expo were speakers from tech-powerhouses including Facebook, Google, Forbes, Microsoft and more.
On Sunday, February 10, O’Gara Coach Beverly Hills hosted its first Sunset GT of 2019 at Sunset Plaza. Sunset GT welcomed the car community to experience a cars and coffee featuring Los Angeles’s most exclusive collection of exotic and luxury vehicles. Despite morning rain in the forecast, the sold-out show attracted over 500 spectators.
