Everyone loves a movie night, and at McLaren Beverly Hills, we wanted to take the movie-going experience to the next level for our private screening of “McLaren.” The documentary provided a glimpse into the legacy of Bruce McLaren, his F1 racing career and personal life. We were privileged to have Amanda McLaren, Bruce’s only child, as our host for the evening!
Over the weekend Porsche celebrated their 70th anniversary, so we decided to join in on the fun! Over 70 Porsche, 800 spectators and 150+ cars in total had the chance to “Sportscar Together” as Porsche would say. At the show we had four Carrera GTs along with two 918s in addition to the various models of Porsche that lined the parking lot!
It’s #SunsetGT time again! This month, we invited Aria to show off their soon-to-be production car, the FXE. Many of you may have never heard of this car before, but I’m sure you’re all familiar with Tesla, or for the Porsche fans of the car world, the 911 Singers! Aria had a hand in the development of these few companies, and have decided to take that knowledge and expertise in the developmental phases to go out on their own. And that’s just how the FXE was born.
April 8th marked the one year anniversary of #SunsetGT. It has been one year of bringing together some of the best cars in Southern California. One year of exotics, and hyper cars, and new model launches. One year of crazy cars and a lot of fun, and after every show, many people ask, “How are you going to out do yourselves?” Well for the one year anniversary show… We had as many Bugatti come out to join us as possible! The Bugatti take over started at the dealership where we took a convoy of 5, being 2 Veyron and 3 Chiron, down Rodeo Dr. to Sunset Plaza for a grand entrance!
Last night, Urus was brought back from extinction, and the world’s first super sport utility vehicle made it’s Los Angeles debut. The night wouldn’t have been possible without some amazing partners! Thank you to Absolut Elyx, The Bad Stuff Tequila, Chloe + Mint, JP Logistics, Perrier-Jouet, Roger Dubuis, and Treats! Magazine! The elusive venue and fiction to many, was the other worldly, Popsicle Studios LA.
February was our New Year…
As many of you may have caught on from the internet buzz and our instagram this past show had quite a few new implementations. Many of which were very successful because… The show must go on! This show brought out quite a few beautiful examples of vintage automobiles. For Lamborghini we had a Pebble Beach award winning Miura, and a 350GT. Bentley had an amazing 1939 4.25L VanVooren Pillarless Saloon present, while Aston Martin was represented by a classically stunning DB5. Meanwhile the rest of the show was themed #OGBritishInvasion! Over 200+ cars had registered in advance and of those numbers, we had our biggest turn out for Bentley yet, over 25 Aston Martin’s, and the same for McLaren, over 25 cars! For our first show requiring both registration for owners as well as spectators, we are very appreciative of those who followed the directives and came out!
